Chamber Once Again Delivers Property Tax Relief

Minnesota businesses will see another reduction in their statewide property tax, thanks to the efforts of the Minnesota Chamber and our local chamber partners in concert with the Senate majority. For the second time in two years, the Minnesota Chamber Federation helped lower the statewide business property tax.

2019 $1,000 Chamber Scholarship Winner
The 2019 Scholarship winner, Alec Olson, is getting his bags packed for the U of M to study Environmental Science and Entrepreneurship. This should serve him well as he hopes to open an outdoor sports shop in Waconia someday.  Alec was selected because the committee appreciated his hard work ethic, leadership skills, community spirit and drive to achieve his dreams. Good luck, Alec!

Twenty years ago, the movie Drop Dead Gorgeous was filmed in Waconia
and the surrounding area. In honor of that event, the chamber has arranged
for Emagine Theatres to present a viewing of the movie and has invited Miss Minnesota, Kathryn Kueppers, to address the group.
This event is open to the public with advanced registration and will include a beverage (beer, wine or pop) and bag of popcorn.
