Carver County Fair
August 11-15
Did you know that the Carver County Fair is one of the most attended county fairs in Minnesota? Only 11 days until cheese curds, mini donuts, corn dogs, and more! Rides, animals, agriculture, events at the GrandStand, live music, pig races are all part of the excitement at the fair. Visit our Waconia Chamber booth to pick up a free map and
send a “Visit Waconia” postcard!
Waconia Rodeo
August 20 & 21
Come experience the Waconia Rodeo at the Carver County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 5 pm and the pony rides go from 6:00-6:45 pm. The main event starts at 7:00 pm for viewers to see bareback bronc riding, calf roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, barrel racing, team roping, and bull riding. Be sure to come hungry as there will be many food vendors, including the Lions who cook excellent burgers!
