Santa arrives at the Fire Station (26 S Maple St). From noon-2:00PM get your photo taken with Santa while he listens to your Christmas wishes. Bring your own camera and a donation for the Waconia United Food Shelf.
Watch for the mounted posse spreading lots of holiday cheer around town!

The Ambassadors welcomed Fourfold Studios into the Chamber fold with their first dollar of clear profit. Fourfold Studios is owned by Stacy Zaback and Heather Precht. Friends since attending school together in Waconia, their ideas to own a business together took hold and they have been in business since October of 2018. They are Brand Experts, Photographers, Bloggers and they have co-working space in their studio, which is also open to all photographers. Give them a call if you would like a fresh brand for 2020!

The Ambassadors were excited to cut the ribbon for La Colonia Learning Center where they will be teaching the Spanish language as well as pre-school curriculum in a loving, home environment. We loved learning that the kids who attend will get to make fresh tortillas for lunch! Lots of hands on learning and fun to be had at La Colonia with Hector and Kim Castillo. There are a limited number of spaces available, so make sure you give them a call!

Workplace Wellness Opportunity for Local Businesses

Deadline to apply: January 31
Carver County Public Health is currently accepting project proposals from local businesses interested in implementing wellness activities related to healthy eating, physical activity, breastfeeding support, and/or tobacco-free living. Public Health will provide technical assistance and resources to workplace partners to help identify workplace wellness opportunities and implement evidence-based strategies.
