Name the Waterfront Service Center at Lk Waconia Regional Park
The title of the waterfront service center was created with the application for state bond funds. It was meant to help describe that the building would be more than a picnic pavilion, offering additional services and be near the shoreline. It was not meant to be the actual name of the building.
Members of the Carver County Parks Commission are in the process of coming up with a new name.
Suggested criteria:
• Historical significance
• Environmental feature
• Cultural significance
If you have a name/story that you’d like to submit for consideration, please email ideas to cfenner@destinationwaconia.org. Deadline to submit is February 7.
