Waconia Fireworks & Summer Fun
Christine Fenner
President, Waconia Chamber of Commerce
Waconia Fireworks - The Lake Waconia Fireworks are on this year, and we understand there are some questions and uncertainty surrounding the event.
After organizing the Lake Waconia fireworks display for more than 30 years, the Waconia Chamber of Commerce has announced that Sovereign Estate Winery will now organize this community-loved tradition. As with any transition, there are logistics, coordination efforts, and behind-the-scenes planning required to ensure the event continues smoothly without losing the spirit and community focus it has long been known for. We appreciate the community’s interest and will help to share additional details, updates, and information as they become available.
In the meantime, check out our summer calendar of exciting events!

Memorial Blood Centers has declared a blood emergency as supplies across the region have fallen to critically low levels — with less than a two-day supply overall and under one day for type O blood.
As hospitals enter the busy summer trauma season, the need for blood donations is especially urgent. Blood donation is one of the simplest and most impactful ways individuals can support emergency preparedness and patient care in our communities.
Community members are encouraged to schedule a donation appointment today by visiting mbc.org or calling 1-888-448-3253. Every donation can help save lives.
