Business bears the brunt of governor's budget

Gov. Tim Walz has unveiled his expansive and expensive budget proposal. The impact is crystal clear: Minnesota businesses are being asked to pay billions of dollars in additional taxes to support his budget that approaches $50 billion for the next two years, up more than 8 percent over the existing biennium.

With so much conversation around mental health, Heather Boll has found her calling and is so glad to be doing this work. The Ambassadors learned that Heather is a Certified Peer Support Specialist through the Minnesota Department of Health. As one of five people battling a mental illness, she wants to serve as a bridge between people in distress and the overwhelming, confusing health care system. She can help guide, support and access mental health resources to those in need .  If you or someone you know could use this service, give Heather a call.
