Harvesting Connections
by Christine Fenner
President, Waconia Chamber of Commerce
| |
Strategic networking is essential for business growth! Many of our members see the chamber events as a way to meet local business owners, prospective clients, and community leaders. At our September Strategic Networking luncheon, participants had the opportunity to begin to build valuable relationships that can open doors to new connections, partnerships, and resources.
By connecting, we can gain valuable insights, and also strong friendships. By being present, networking also strengthens brand visibility and enhances credibility. I often get asked for referrals, members look for other fellow like-minded and community-focused people to do business. Finally, to best harvest your connections, plan before you grow. Think about who you’d like to meet to grow your business, who you’d like to meet to grow personally, and who can you refer onto others? Continue reading for 5 tips for strategic networking...
