The results are in, and we are very pleased with the feedback received from members who completed our membership survey. Results found that 89% of members said they were either “very likely” or “likely” to recommend DRMA to another manufacturer, and 82% thought membership in DRMA was either an “excellent” or “good” value for the investment. We also received insightful suggestions on new programs and events to consider for the future – so stay tuned as we look for new ways to bring value to your dues investment. If you missed the chance to complete the survey, please know that my door is always open. Just email me and I’m happy to set up a call, virtual meeting, or time to grab a cup of coffee and hear what you have to say.

No surprise here, but the survey also reinforced the message that members are most concerned with finding skilled workers.  One way that DRMA addresses this is by working with educators across the region to incorporate manufacturing industry-recognized credentials (IRCs) into their curriculum and encouraging members to ask for certifications for candidates. Don’t know what that means? Using IRCs takes the guesswork out of hiring and confirms that the applicants are qualified to do the job. Learn more here
