The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) has opened its site-based wait list for one- and two-bedroom project-based voucher (PBV) units at Crescent Place, an affordable housing community for families, located at 310 West Rand Road, Arlington Heights IL 60004. The PBV Program is a rental assistance program where the resident pays 30% of his/her income towards the rent.

To be eligible for the one-and two-bedroom units at Crescent Place, applicant’s income may not exceed the very low income limit (50% AMI), which is as follows:

The maximum occupancy standard is 2 people per bedroom. Families with more than 4 people will not qualify. Families are assigned a unit size based on the HACC’s subsidy standards.

The wait list will close at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023.

Applications must be submitted electronically through the website; no other form of application will be accepted. All completed applications will be accepted, but only 150 applicants per bedroom size will be placed on the waitlist. A computer-generated lottery system will be used to determine which applicants are selected and the order of applicants on the waiting list. For those selected, applicants who are currently on the HACC’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program wait list will receive a preference.
