Wake County government will be closed for holidays on the following dates:

December 24, 25, and 26, 2024

January 1, 2025

January 20, 2025

The Wake County Water Quality Laboratory will be closed Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3. Friday, December 20 is the last day for wellhead inspections and well sampling before the holidays. As usual, please request your wellhead inspection as early as possible. Water testing on new wells can take weeks to complete and clean water tests are required before issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy.
