The mission of WFCT is to connect members of our community to the essential resources of food and personal care items and to each other through community gatherings. Gathering diverse members of our community for food, connection and education, we seek to transform the systems that necessitate the services we provide.

We Are Now a 501(C)3! What does this mean?

-This means we are transitioning from our fiscal sponsor and longstanding faithful ministry partner, St. John's Episcopal Church, to the direction of an independent Board of Directors. Our Board is composed of faithful longtime supporters of our program: Dr. Marion Holloway, Spencer Renfrow, Freda Hall, Bonnie Mwanda, Tenice Caudle and Joy Shillingsubrg. Our Board set short and long term goals for our first calendar year as a nonprofit that will advance our mission and ensure sustainable growth. Some of our goals are:

  • Engaging more community members to support our work through individual donations and corporate sponsorship.
  • Increasing the number of meals distribute each week
  • Engage more community members in our quarterly gatherings that bring diverse members of our community together to share stories and discuss the history, causes and systems that have created the needs we seek to address with our food program.

-Our Food Advisory Team and our Leadership Team for Community Gatherings will continue to work hand in hand with our Board, volunteers and community members to advance our mission- WFCT has been built by dedicated work and love of our teams and the generosity of our community.

-All donations can go directly to Wake Forest Community Table through our NEW WEBSITE or checks can be mailed directly to 1329 Colonial Club Rd Wake Forest NC 27587
