A note from the School Director

Dear Wake Prep Families,

It was great to see so many of you at our Uniform Night last week. From our energetic and curious Kindergarteners to our sophisticated Seniors, all were excited to get outfitted with uniform shirts and begin their Wake Prep journey. Please be sure to read through this newsletter for information regarding our next uniform event and other important happenings.

Thank you for your patience as our Registrars work to process enrollment applications and verify every student's required school documents as quickly as possible. Please do not resend any documents you have already uploaded to the Parent Portal. If you are missing any documents, our Registrars will reach out to you by email with next steps.

This Saturday, May 7, from 10am-4pm, Wake Prep will be at the Meet in the Street event in downtown Wake Forest. If you're in the area, please stop by and say Hi! Families that come by wearing a Wake Prep polo or Friday shirt get a FREE Wake Prep car magnet.

We hope to see you there!

Sincerely,

Cristina Schubert, M.Ed.

For newly enrolled families...

Welcome to the Wake Prep family! Please continue reading below for important information regarding behavior and dress code expectations, and High School dual enrollment.

RAISE EXPECTATIONS

As we prepare for the coming school year, we ask that all parents and students please take time to review the Parent & Student Handbooks and Conduct & Consequences Matrix together. The expectations within the handbooks are critical to establishing and maintaining our positive campus culture and moral and wholesome environment.

We look forward to starting the new school year with a common understanding of our rules, expectations, and guidelines.

DRESS CODE

Dress code is an important part of our culture at Wake Prep and is a requirement for all students. Please review the dress code and ensure your child is prepared to be in proper dress code when school begins.

Construction Updates

The building looks more and more like a school every day. Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC are all installed and working. Trees are being cleared behind the school to make room for the athletics stadium.

REMINDER: The campus is an active construction site. For your safety and to minimize distractions, visitors are not allowed on campus at this time.
