DCTA bus drivers unhappy with ongoing contract negotiations, union leader says 'you expect a lot of us'

Victoria Allen, the executive board officer of the Denton County Transportation Authority bus drivers' union, voiced drivers' concerns to the DCTA Board of Directors last week. She said what has been presented during contract negotiations was a "huge slap in our face."

Denton County is at an increased risk for grass fires Monday and Tuesday amid record high temperatures for February, experts say. The National Weather Service reports it hadn’t been this hot on Feb. 26 since 1917.
