As a reminder, prior to coming to campus each day, every campus member must conduct a COVID-19 Health Screening self-assessment which includes taking your temperature and answering COVID-19 related questions about yourself and those with whom you have been in contact.

HEALTH SCREEN APP UPDATE

In order to be consistent throughout all KCU Reawakening recommendations and guidelines, the Health Screen App has been revised. Please note that the screening question concerning gatherings now reads as follows:

"Have you attended an indoor group gathering of ten or more people OR an outdoor group gathering of 25 or more people within the last 14 days?"
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I RECEIVE A RED (NO-GO) SCREEN ON THE APP?

Red (No Go) Screen:
Campus members with any positive answers on the screening questionnaire, exhibiting symptoms and/or have a temperature greater than 100.0 will be required to stay home and contact Score 1 for Health at 1-877-425-0251.

Return to campus after receiving a Red (No Go) screen can be accomplished by passing the self-screen, or clearance from a healthcare provider (i.e. reported symptom that resulted in positive screening was evaluated and attributed to another medical condition).
Only approved campus members (faculty, staff, students) are permitted on either the KC or Joplin campus at this time. If you can continue to work remotely from home, please do so. If you are not sure whether you are needed back on campus, please check with your manager.
The app is available via the KCU Safety app (App Store or Google Play) and tapping on “Health Screen.”
