Hello Community.

I continue to enjoy the enthusiasm of the new members of our Emmaus/Chrysalis community. I am especially seeing this in the interest of our board openings for the community. We have sent out nomination forms and you all have responded with some excellent candidates.

The open positions are:



• Community Spiritual Director
• Assistant Spiritual Director
• Assistant Community Director
• Secretary
• Registrar
• Agape Letter Coordinator
• Agape Chair
• Sponsorship Chair

We will be talking about the positions Monday at the gathering. The requirements of the positions will be given then as well. We will be voting through the emails we send out after that. In the past we have held our board meetings after the gatherings but that has resulted in some rather late nights. We will be holding board meetings in the coming year via a video conference application. I hope that will expand our nominations.

I know that when I first was approached about the Community Lay Director position, I had two major concerns. First, would I be able to put in the time and, second, would I know what to do? I’m thinking you may have the same thoughts when considering a position on the board.
