And this is love: that we walk in obedience to His commands. As you have heard from the beginning, His command is that you walk in love.
-2 John 1:6
From The Pastor
Wins of the Week
A ministry that Tomoka supports in Thailand is making a huge impact in their region. This past weekend alone, they took part in baptizing 560 people! Tomoka is honored to be working with such incredible ministries all over the world, and it's always encouraging to hear how The Holy Spirit is moving in the lives of others.
Thank you to everyone who generously helped fund Pastor Greg Holmgren's recent trip to the Philippines. Because of your donations, he and five other team members were able to bless the people they visited in a number of ways. They installed linoleum floors in people's homes, gave showers to people who hadn't had an opportunity to bathe in months, passed out brand new clothes to children and fed them ice cream for the first time.

Plenty of opportunities to bless the lives of others are coming up in the near future. Check out the link below to learn more about Tomoka's mission trips.
Around Campus
The holiday season can be stressful for anyone, especially if someone is struggling with grief from death, divorce or just loss in general. If you're dealing with any type of grief this holiday season, Tomoka would like to invite you to Surviving the Holidays at 5:30 PM Friday, Nov. 1 in the Chapel. This will be a special evening to gather for dinner and fellowship, while learning how to deal with emotions that may arise during the holiday season. Sign up at the link below.
The Fourth Annual Chuck Strasser Candy Cane 5K is coming up next month. This is a great opportunity to get some quality exercise, while also raising money to help support local adoptions. As of right now, the cost to run in the 5K is $25, but that price will rise this Monday. Sign up today at the link below in order to get the best deal.
Beach Baptisms take place in Ormond at 2 PM Sunday, Oct. 20 at Andy Romano Park. If you're ready to publicly declare your faith, come on out and one of our pastors will be happy to baptize you. If you're not sure whether or not you're ready to take the next step in your faith, visit the link below to learn more.
