OCTOBER 2022

Happy Fall!

It's been a busy transition into the fall season for us at Look Park. Though our park attractions have closed for the season, our upcoming events and projects have us looking forward to one of the most enjoyable times of the year.

As you may have seen, we announced the return of both Haunted Train and Santa's Trains, two of our larger seasonal events which you can learn more about below. The response has been overwhelming, so we're looking forward to seeing our community participate.

We also sent our Fall Appeal over the last couple of weeks, and we are tremendously thankful for the support our nonprofit park receives. If you haven't had the opportunity to make your yearly contribution, you can learn more below.

Lastly, we were thrilled to announced a new holiday tradition with our Florence business community starting in November that builds up to the opening of Santa's Trains on Dec. 9th. We hope that this contest will spread some holiday spirit, increase foot traffic to our local Florence businesses, and reward one lucky business for their creativity and effort. Take a look at the contest details below and sign up if you haven't already!

Thank you again for all of the support we received over the busy summer season - I'll see you in the park for some holiday fun soon!

Santa's Trains Returns to Look Park

For the first time since 2019, we’re thrilled to welcome back friends and families to one of our signature events at Look Park, Santa’s Trains. With tremendous excitement and anticipation from our Park community, this year, the ten-day event is going to be better than ever. We hope that you will join us in supporting this special event so we can bring back the tradition in the best way possible.

In collaboration with the Pioneer Valley Model Railroad Club, The Garden House, transformed into a mystical wonderland, will offer all of the sights and sounds to capture the magic of the season. Children of all ages will have the chance to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, explore an enchanted forest of holiday trees and playful miniature villages with model trains whizzing by.

Bring your camera and take your holiday photos! Santa’s Trains is free, with donations kindly accepted to benefit Look Park.

Nightly during Santa’s Trains is our popular Look Park Express ($5/pp) wagon ride that takes you through the park to witness our stunning Winter Wonderland Light Display.

This Winter Wonderland Light Display runs from November 26 until January 1, with donations accepted for those visiting in their own vehicles.

Here at Look Park, our theme this year has been to “Look Forward,” as we adapt to a new normal in 2022. No longer are we looking back at the trying years that preceded this one, but instead, our focus has shifted completely to the exciting times that are ahead. Our first year back in full operation brought along the things that we love the most – lively concerts, your favorite park events, and most importantly, seeing our community make memories in the park again.

As our park has gained momentum over the past year with exciting announcements, improvements, and happenings on the horizon, so has the generosity we’ve experienced from this region. We’ve been so fortunate to partner with hundreds of local businesses, individuals, and families to support our nonprofit park throughout the year – we’re incredibly grateful - but the job is not done.

Our Fall Appeal is one of our last opportunities to raise money for the park this year, which as you know, receives no financial support from local, state, or federal tax dollars. Look Park is 100% supported by the community we serve, whether it be through our park entry and attractions, or donations from our proud supporters.

Look Park is often considered one of the hidden gems of this area, known for representing what is so positive and bright about Western Massachusetts. In knowing the important responsibility that we have to our community, we humbly ask for your support so we can continue to provide the best experience possible to everyone who enters our gates.

Please consider donating to our Fall Appeal, and thank you in advance for your commitment to Look Park.
