Walk of Hope for ALS

Saturday, September 6th

Thank you once again for your support for the Angel Fund for ALS Research and the Walk of Hope for ALS.

Last year’s walk was a great success thanks to all our walkers, teams, donors, and volunteers. Because of your hard work and dedication to our cause, we raised over $150,000 for ALS research!

The Angel Fund's 24th Annual Walk of Hope for ALS will be held on Saturday, September 6th on the Lower Common in Wakefield, MA.

Please join us as we walk and Step Up to Cure ALS. Gather family and friends, create your team, and walk for those who are living with ALS and those who have lost their courageous battle to the disease. Walk as a team or as an individual and all funds raised go to ALS research.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. The Walk steps off at 11 a.m. after the release of doves. T-shirts will be provided to registered walkers.

Our Walk of Hope for ALS will again feature an opening ceremony, a send-off and acknowledgement of our teams, activities for kids of all ages, and a food tent for our walkers after the event. We are excited that our food providers will include Kings Dining and Entertainment, Honey Dew, Wegman's and Shaw's Supermarket who are joining us again this year.

Fundraising:

We encourage our walkers to fundraise. It's easy to create a team or individual fundraising page. Just click here and begin to raise funds.

After you register, you can create a fundraising page – let your team members join the page and create their own fundraising page, or they can donate to your page.

Are you walking for a loved one?

We will again be honoring our Faces of ALS^® as we walk for those who no longer can.

If your loved one has not been honored in past years with a poster along the walkway and you would like to honor them this year, please send a high-resolution photo to theangelfundals@gmail.com by September 3RD.



If your loved one has been honored in past years, please contact us to ensure that we have the poster.

Email us a photo (300 kb at least) of who you are walking for and we will provide you with a lawn sign for your team. You must submit the photo by September 1st.
