Wes Parham serves as Director, Regional Government Affairs for Xcel Energy-Colorado leading the Company’s state public policy and external advocacy efforts. He also serves as a liaison to the Colorado legislature, governor’s office, and state agencies. Since joining Xcel Energy in 2015, Wes has played an instrumental role in the development and implementation of numerous pubic advocacy campaigns, setting the stage for a transformative dialogue with energy consumers and decision-makers on the advancement of clean energy, new technologies, and economic development opportunities throughout Colorado.
Together with his involvement in various chambers and business organizations, Wes volunteers his time serving non-profit organizations promoting entrepreneurship, workforce and community development, youth mentorship, and public education. He also recently served on the Associate Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado and also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Enterprise Fund and Board of Advisors for Colorado Succeeds.
