We Remember

You won't forget this short film. Haunting local outdoor visuals are mated with poetry composed and narrated by Corinth, VT, author Barbara Soros. Directed by Junction Dance Festival Elizabeth Kurlyo who serves up earthy choreography.

Cinematography by Quinn Thomashow, JAM producer and American Film Institute student, of Strafford, VT. Edited by Thomashow and filmmaker/JAM producer Jefferson Everest Crawford.

Working together

The NH statehouse was narrowly divided last session, yet both parties collaborated on the budget. NH House Majority Leader Jason Osborne (R) discusses with colleagues that unusual camaraderie. "This particular environment was a lot different from what anyone had experienced before," he said. "Everybody was simultaneously happy and not happy. That's when you know you've got a pretty good budget."

No denying death

Alzheimer's activist Darryll Rudy walks the talk. The St. Johnsbury, VT, resident has the disease. In this presentation, he and others confront death head on. "I know where my path is going," Rudy says. "Right now I'm enjoying the path. We are contributing as much as we can." With a median age of 43, VT residents are the nation's third oldest.
