Walkathon Logo & Theme

Huge thank you goes out to Cheri Oliver & Amanda Hausle for this year's inspirational theme and graphic. As we celebrate 60 years as a Catholic School, Jesus is truly key in our lives; helping us to unlock the treasures life has in store for us. Be prepared for treasure hunts and finding the keys to unlock tons of Walkathon fun!

***Important Change***

This year we have added a Gala in the Spring! (Mark your calendars for Friday, April 19th) We have moved our silent auction to accompany this evening out for parents, parishioners, and alumni. We will have a smaller silent auction attached to the Walkathon to catch some exclusive event seating opportunities. Stay tuned for more information.

Start Your Online Fundraising Today!

Follow the steps below to set up your GiveSmart Fundraising page.

GiveSmart Page Found Here

1.   Clink on the link above & click on "Create A Student Page" to set up a Fundraising Champion Page. Please refer to the instructional video here & on the Walkathon webpage for additional help.

2.   Create your page. Enter your page student or family name & goal amount. **DO NOT enter any decimal points.** If you enter 100.00 for example, you will receive a "Status 400 Error" message. Please simply enter 100 (or your desired amount) and click "Create Fundraising Page". Then click "Go to Fundraising Page" and add a personalized message and picture if you'd like.

3.   Once the page is created, a notification is sent to the administrator of the site to approve. When approved, you will receive an email notifying you. Now you are ready to copy the provided link and put your link out there to start raising money!

4.   When a donation is made, you will receive an email and the office receives notification as well. They will then assign credit toward the student's goal.

6.   Please make sure your friends and family are using the link you provide. If they go to the main page and click “donate”, it will not directly assign credit to your child’s total.

6.   Families with siblings - The platform only allows one Fundraising Champion page per log-in. If you would like siblings to have their own fundraising pages, you can create additional log-ins. You can have multiple log-ins using the same email. Another option is having the one page as a family or sibling donation page. (The office will split the total between the siblings for pledge credit.)

7.   Returning Families – Your username and password for GiveSmart are the same, but you will have to set up a new Champion Page for your child.

Some things to remember:

  • There is a credit card transaction fee on this site, but no additional fees. 100% of the donation will benefit St. Lawrence School.
  • For online pledges, you DO NOT need to send in pledge sheets - credit is automatically assigned.
  • Please contact us at stlawrencewalkathon@gmail.com if you need assistance setting this up.
