Fellow golfers!

Now that we are well into Spring, it’s time to start thinking about golf and this year’s Walker Cup Golf Tournament!!

Mark your calendars for this year's event - Friday, August 23rd at Echo Falls Golf Club, in Snohomish, WA. This is a morning event again (7:30 am Shotgun Start), followed by the awards banquet immediately after the golf. As far as I can tell, this is our first trip to this course for a Walker Cup Tournament, and this definitely should be a fun venue!

Please pay attention to the forms when sending in your payments for registration and/or sponsorship – you will notice some price increases. These are slight increases and are strictly driven by inflation – the costs for our tournament have gone up considerably over the past few years, and these minor increases will allow us to cover those additional costs and still make a healthy contribution to the scholarship fund. As we’ve done the past few years, we are continuing with our “All In" payment – no need to pay for anything extra at the course, other than beer (and, of course, those extra Grand Prize Raffle Tickets! 😊). Team registrations are $680 this year ($170 / Player).

We are also looking for sponsors for this year's event. We are just getting started, so a lot of sponsorship opportunities are available - Greens @ $125 each, Regular Teeboxes @ $175 each, and “Contest” Teeboxes @ $275 each. There are also many other sponsorship options - no reason to hold back on donating to this great cause, raising funds for the George F. Walker Memorial Scholarship program. If you want to confirm your desired sponsorship item is still available, please feel free to call me with any questions.

If you plan to play but are not sure you have enough players for a team, or if you are a single or twosome - don't let that stop you. We usually have no problem finding spots for everyone that wants to play, and I can help you fill out your teams. If you have questions about registration for players/teams, you can reach me anytime at the number below.

Lastly, please feel free to pass this along to anyone else you think might be interested, this tournament is open to anyone/everyone - work colleagues, family, and friends!!

IMPORTANT NOTE: I've had 3 teams already contact me to reserve a spot for this year, and last year we had 33 teams - that means if every team from last year also played again this year, with the 3 extra teams we would sell out. Please don't wait until July to send in your registration/sponsorship forms as I'm thinking/hoping we could be full before that!
