Today would have been a perfect day for a walk, but the Ward F Walking Tour has unfortunately been postponed.

We will definitely keep you posted on the new date. In the meantime, feel free to visit the Planning Department's web page to learn what they've been up to.

In other news...

There's been a lot of discussion in the community about the proposed Affordable Housing Overlay. Will it be on the agenda? or will it be tabled again? The City Council Agenda comes out on Friday after 3 pm and we are looking forward to it!

Jersey City's Caucus Meetings are typically held on Mondays. Due to the Federal holiday, the next Council Caucus will be on Tuesday, October 11th at 4:00 pm with the Council meeting on Thursday, October 13th at 6:00 pm.

These Caucus meetings are the more interactive occasions where your Councilpersons' questions can be responded to, which is why we, in the Ward F office, host our own Caucus BEFORE the Caucus on Saturdays – prior to the city’s caucus meetings – as we prepare to interact and engage! Join us!

RESCHEDULED CAVEN POINT ADVOCACY WALK will now take place on at. Oct. 8 at 10 AM.

There will be about 10 minutes of remarks on the walkway under the golf course clubhouse and then a peaceful walk to the priceless wildlife refuge, a Migratory Bird Habitat and Nesting Area, and educational resources.

Join the Jersey City Office of Diversity & Inclusion, Oceanfront Holdings LLC, Garden Greenz LLC, The Leaf Joint, Butler & Baldwin and Harmony Dispensary on upcoming employment opportunities. Various positions are available for individuals who are interested in working in the Cannabis Industry. Onsite expungement seminar on the day of the event.
