Spotlight: World Mental Health Day on October 10
This year’s World Mental Health Day, on October 10th, comes at a time when our daily lives have changed considerably as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The World Health Organization reports that previous experience of widespread emergencies will ramp up the need for health care in the coming months and years.

Here are some things that you can do for the mental health care of yourself and others:
  1. If in crisis, ask for help. Check CWRU's Mental Health Resources page for phone numbers and weblinks.
  2. Join the Big Event for Mental Health through the WHO on October 10.
  3. Review the WHO's Mental Health Resources for the Public.
  4. Don't forget Take5 and Relax Line from the Wellness Program.

Don't be afraid to talk about mental health challenges with friends, family or a professional counselor. No one needs to suffer alone. Talking helps! Contact Impact Solutions at 1-800-227-6007 for assistance.
