Children's Craft: Ocean Sunrise

Terrific Terrapins!

During this program participants will observe live salt and fresh water turtles, learn about their needs, the habitats they live in, and how they survive. Patrons will also learn what it means to be an ”endangered species” and what we all can do to help protect these animals. The program includes a story, a “mini” lab exercise and several turtle crafts.

Author Talk & Book Signing

Join us in welcoming author Dr. Andrea Blake-Garrett as she visits the library to discuss and sign copies of her most recent book, Live Fit & Free For Life: Exercise For Seniors 60+. Dr. Blake-Garrett will be offering a short reading from her book, including a demonstration of exercises, answering questions from the audience, and providing signed copies for interested readers to purchase.
