Oh, What a Night!
Oakland A's vs. Milwaukee Brewers |  Wednesday, July 31 in Oakland
Chamber President Jay Hoyer was invited to throw out the first pitch when the Oakland A's squared off with the Milwaukee Brewers on  Wednesday, July 31. Garnering support from his family and the entire Chamber staff, we rooted Jay on from a luxury suite.   Dressed in his best A's hat and shirt, Jay took the field and made the pitch that signaled the beginning of the game.  How cool was that?

Scott Slocum, the  Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for the  Walnut Creek Convention & Visitors Bureau was proud to showcase Walnut Creek as the Jewel of the East Bay with marketing behind home plate, the A's video board, along the stadium concourses and of course the luxury suites!
