Dear Wamogo Families and Friends,

I am pleased to announce that the WRHS Student News Blog is now up and running on Wamogo's website. It can be found on the Wamogo homepage under the "What's New" section.  The blog serves as a means to display student work and achievements.  To read the blog, please click here.

Winter weather is underway and with that comes inevitable delays and cancellations. Please be sure that your contact information is up to date, so that the alert system, School Messenger, can notify you of delays and cancellations in a timely manner.  If you need to update your telephone number or email address, contact Mrs. Hart in Guidance at or 860-567-6646.

Online progress reports are now available in PowerSchool. If you have concerns about your child's progress, please contact your child's school counselor for assistance.

Tomorrow, December 14 is an early dismissal day for students. Teachers will be participating in district wide professional development in the afternoon. Dismissal for middle school and high school students is 12:15 p.m.

I look forward to seeing you at Parent Coffee Hour on January 4, 2017, 7:30 a.m., in the Library Media Center.  Our discussions are always intriguing and help to facilitate healthy communication between parents and school.

Wishing you all a very happy and safe holiday,
Jaime Rivera

To report a student absence, please call the main office at 860-567-7410 prior to 8:30 a.m.

If your child is absent from any class without validation, the absence will be considered a cut from class and will be coded as such.

Automated calls regarding student attendance occur daily at 5:00 p.m. If your child is coded as CUT or T (Tardy), parent/guardians will receive an automated call.  If you have more than one student enrolled at Wamogo, and more than one of your children were coded as CUT or T (Tardy), you will receive a call for each child.

Please note that it is important for Wamogo to keep an accurate record of absences due to state laws and the potential for loss of credit.  If you have any questions regarding Wamogo's attendance policy, please refer to the student handbook  by clicking here. Additionally, attendance concerns can be discussed with your child's teacher or guidance counselor.

Policy and/or Behavioral Expectation Highlight

Plagiarism is cheating.  To plagiarize, as defined in Webster's dictionary, is "to present the ideas or words of another as one's own."  Any instance of plagiarism will result in the student receiving a zero on that assignment.  In addition, teachers will notify parents and school administration as soon as possible and disciplinary action may ensue.

If parent/guardians have concerns of any incident that may have occurred in school, they are encouraged to fill out an Incident Investigation Form. After the necessary information is filled out, please forward the form to the Assistant Principal's office.
This form is available to download and print on Wamogo's website under the "For Parents" tab.
