Dear Wamogo Families and Friends,

Wamogo is seeking parent/guardians to participate in a committee that will review Wamogo's current School Counseling Program and will develop recommendations based on the State of Connecticut Comprehensive School Counseling Program Guidelines. This committee will include members of the administration, staff, students and the community. The goal is to present a five-year Plan of Improvement to our superintendent by May, 2017.  If you are interested in obtaining more information, please email me at by November 23.

The Litchfield High School Prevention Council has been kind enough to invite Region 6 parent/guardians to a Cyber Safety Workshop tonight, 7:00 p.m. at Litchfield High School in the library. For more information please click here

Coming soon!  Wamogo Regional High School's Blog will be featured on our website, wherein Wamogo news and announcements can easily be accessed. The focus of the blog will be to exhibit student work and student accomplishments. We hope that this will provide an ease of communication beneficial to Wamogo students, teachers, parents, and community members.

Our next Parent Coffee Hour is December 2, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. in the Library Media Center.  I look forward to seeing you there.

To report a student absence, please call the main office at 860-567-7410 prior to 8:30 a.m.

Attendance codes in PowerSchool have changed.  If your child is absent from any class without validation, the absence will be considered a cut from class and will be coded as such.

Automated calls regarding student attendance occur daily at 5:00 p.m. If your child is coded as CUT or T (Tardy), parent/guardians will receive an automated call.  If you have more than one student enrolled at Wamogo, and more than one of your children were coded as CUT or T (Tardy), you will receive a call for each child.

Please note that it is important for Wamogo to keep an accurate record of absences due to state laws and the potential for loss of credit.  If you have any questions regarding Wamogo's attendance policy, please refer to the student handbook  by clicking here. Additionally, attendance concerns can be discussed with your child's teacher or guidance counselor.
