Dear Wamogo Families and Friends,

The Region 6 Players  will be holding three performances of Sister Act in the James M. Eisenhaure Auditorium.  The dates of performances are March 10 (7:00 p.m.), March 11 (7:00 p.m.), and March 12 (2:00 p.m.). To purchase tickets and for more information, please click here.

As our winter sports season is winding down and the spring season about to start, parents of student athletes are encouraged to remind their children to lock valuables in lockers during games and practices.

Please continue to monitor your student's progress in PowerSchool.  Additionally, please check to ensure your contact information is up to date.  If assistance is needed, contact Barbara Hart in the School Counseling Office at 860-567-6646 or bhart@rsd6.org.

To report a student absence, please call the main office at 860-567-7410 prior to 8:30 a.m.

Reminder:  Per State of Connecticut requirements, after 10 absences it is required to submit a doctor's note to the school, if the absence is medically related.

If your child is absent from any class without validation, the absence will be considered a cut from class and will be coded as such.

Automated calls regarding student attendance occur daily at 5:00 p.m. If your child is coded as CUT or T (Tardy), parent/guardians will receive an automated call.  If you have more than one student enrolled at Wamogo, and more than one of your children were coded as CUT or T (Tardy), you will receive a call for each child.

Please note that it is important for Wamogo to keep an accurate record of absences due to state laws and the potential for loss of credit.  If you have any questions regarding Wamogo's attendance policy, please refer to the student handbook  by clicking here. Additionally, attendance concerns can be discussed with your child's teacher or school counselor.
