It happens Wednesday, April 10, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Port of Hueneme.

What's the Clean Power Alliance and how will it impact your electric rates?

Late last year, the Chamber published information about the city's change in electricity suppliers. Residents and businesses are automatically being enrolled in the Clean Power Alliance (CPA) unless they opt out.

  1. Participated on a conference call addressing the Dynamex case, the court case that mandated independent contractors to pass the “ABC Test.” If they do not pass, they are considered employees.
  2. Met with Mayor Tim Flynn to discuss economic development efforts in Oxnard.
  3. Held an Executive Committee meeting for Chamber Officers to review the organization’s financial reports and membership growth.
  4. Conducted a business visit at The Sun Valley Group, a flower grower and wholesaler in South Oxnard. View photos on Facebook.
