  1. Our Chamber Ambassadors met to coordinate efforts to welcome new members and provide guidance on maximizing their membership.
  2. Chamber CEO Nancy Lindholm participated in a W.A.C.E. Business Retention and Expansion workshop in an effort to learn about best practices from other successful chambers of commerce.
  3. The Military Appreciation Committee met to continue planning the Military Appreciation Dinner in September.
  4. We celebrated the grand opening of one of the newest businesses to join the Chamber, The Money Store, with an official ribbon cutting ceremony.
  5. Chamber CEO Nancy Lindholm led a workshop for chamber executives and staff on "Budget Preparation and Monitoring" at the 2019 W.A.C.E. Academy.

Deadline to apply for Citizens Redistricting Commission extended to August 19
Californians now have more time to apply to help shape California’s future by serving on the next Citizens Redistricting Commission. Citizens will now have until August 19, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. to apply. Applications take just minutes to complete, and must be submitted online at  apply.shapecaliforniasfuture.auditor.ca.gov .
