PRAY ONE MINUTE more!!!
ONE MILLION HOURS OF PRAYER FOR
PEACE, JUSTICE AND GOODWILL
The world feels heavy these days, headlines filled with injustices and unrest while
division and disharmony are promoted rather than seeking common goals.
The world desperately needs Christians united in prayer.
A million hours of prayer sounds impossible, BUT divide that prayer time among
all of the Catholics in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati,
only one more minute of prayer a day by you and each of us reaches our goal!
From now until January 1, the World Day of Prayer for Peace,
you are invited by the Archdiocese to pray one minute more than you already do, every day, specifically for the intention of peace, justice and goodwill in our country.
One more minute might not sound like much,
but together with our brothers and sisters in faith
- God's response can change the world!
ITALIAN FRIARS AND SISTERS
TAKE TO THE STREETS TO DANCE
We can all use more joy in our lives.
In a homemade video, Vittorio Ricco captures some of the joy that the
Franciscan Mission of Legnano in Italy is bringing to the locals.
The dance moves are impressive
— after all, these friars and nuns are wearing sandals, cassocks and habits —
and their joie de vivre spreads around the crowd.
Dancing together to the contemporary song, Jerusalem,
the religious beam as they show off some nifty footwork and coordination.
Crowds gather to watch this surprising spectacle, a few can’t resist joining.
KNOW SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO
LIKE THIS MAN, CARLOS?
Raised Catholic, Carlos "C2six" Zamora was in lots of trouble before having a
“born-again” experience that led him back to Christianity.
When seeking a church he heard anti-Catholic preachings that didn’t sound quite right - and he wanted the truth about what Catholicism teaches.
He turned to the Catechism and the Church Fathers' writing to see what the Catholic Church actually said about itself, and found his way home.
