1^st Annual DPBA Poker Run & Fall Fiesta Party

October 15^th, 2022

Your Dana Point Boaters Association’s mission includes sharing information about news and events of interest to boat owners and visitors to the harbor. Answering your questions and offering solutions likewise falls into the category of our mission.

Want to have more fun? Come out and enjoy the 1^st annual Poker Run & Fall Fiesta Party on October 15^th. Buy your ticket now. We offer an exciting event that you won’t want to miss!

The Poker Run begins from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Maneuver around the harbor in your dinghy, paddleboard, or kayak. Stop by the 5 dealer boats to get your cards and check for your winning hand at the party. The party starts from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Feel free to decorate your dinghy, kayak, or paddleboard. Prizes get awarded at the party for the best decorated in a fiesta theme. And remember to dress the part too. Your moment of fame awaits. You could win for best dressed at the party.

The Fall Fiesta Party highlights the event. Enjoy a catered gourmet lunch complete with beverages of adult or soft drink variety. Play games and win prizes. Listen to live music and dance to the tunes that move your feet. Try your hand at the Black Jack table. Place your bid for amazing items at the silent auction. Play our prize drop game. And if you enjoy shopping, browse our tabletop markets for interesting items.

Find out what’s happening with some of the animals that share our planet. We’ve planned an amazing speaker on the subject just for your enjoyment. And, of course, get some raffle tickets. Door prizes get announced throughout the event.

Legal Endeavors are Expensive

One of Dana Point Boaters Association’s biggest concerns remains the affordable access to boating for everyone. Your comments concerning the proposed layout of the harbor revitalization plan and the fee-type dock box storage announcement continue to fill our mailbox. If you imagine another increase disguised as a service, you see the truth. Dana Point Harbor, managed by the County of Orange, needs to hear your concerns and opinions continuously. The squeaky wheel gets the grease!

Lastly, legal endeavors are expensive, and we appreciate all who have donated to our legal fund.
