HR Open House - June 13

Say Aloha to Summer - June 21

The FunD and Staff Support committees have coordinated a colorful way to celebrate the first day of summer! They will be delivering Hawaiian leis to HealthWest campuses and encouraging staff to wear colorful shirts on June 21, perhaps Hawaiian.

Join in Pride Trivia

Gather your coworkers and put your Pride knowledge to the test with Pride Trivia presented by SAGA.

Each trivia contest will include three rounds of 10 questions focused on LGBTQIA+ pop culture, facts and figures, and notable people/places/events.

Each participant will earn 1 hour of Cultural Competency Training credit. Each staff member can only participate in one of the sessions. Teams are capped at five people per team.

Pride Spirit Week - June 26-30

Happy Pride Month! The Sexuality and Gender Advocates Committee will be hosting a Pride Spirit Week for staff the last week in June. Mark your calendars to join in the fun!

Monday, June 26 - Pride Flag Day

Choose one of the several LGBTQIA+ flags and wear those colors.

Tuesday, June 27 - Pronoun Recognition Day

Display your pronouns, whether adding them to your email signature, wearing pins and stickers, or asking coworkers for their pronouns. 

Wednesday, June 28 - HW Pride Shirt Day

Have a HW Pride shirt? Plan to wear it and meet SAGA in the grass on the west end of the MHC building at 2 PM for a group photo.

Thursday, June 29 - I celebrate Pride Month Because ...

Share why you celebrate Pride with custom HW signs! Display them around your office or take pictures with them.

Friday, June 30 - Rainbow Day

Wear your favorite color from the rainbow and create a full rainbow (ROYGBIV) with your teammates. Submit a picture of your “rainbow” and be entered for an opportunity to win a pizza party for your team!
