Dear Friends,

Thank you for being a part of our Water & Energy Learning & Behavior (WE-LAB) Newsletter. Through our WE-LAB workshops we are able to continuously educate residents on water and energy conservation and its impact on both resources and their utility costs. If you haven't attended, be on the lookout on our website for updates on our next workshops!

Please consider supporting Dream In Green during Give Miami Day on November 19th, as we continue to raise community awareness on local and global environmental challenges while promoting environmental education and stewardship throughout South Florida.

Sincerely,

Check out our latest blog post to learn about the importance of Biscayne Bay, its ecosystem, and what we can do to protect it for years to come.

Renewable Energy Initiatives Passed in 2020!
Nevada joined six other states this election when it passed Question 6 which will require electric utilities to produce 50% of their electricity from renewable resources by 2030.

In Columbus, Ohio, a community choice aggregation program was just established that will have American Electric Power provide the city with net-100 percent renewable energy by 2023.

This is a big step towards carbon neutrality and could potentially serve as a catalyst for other states to follow suit.
