Child Care: Emergency, Respite, Deployment, and Work Related Absence

We are here to ensure that families receive the support they need for their children when their Family Care Plan fails during an emergency or when otherwise challenging situations arise due to their unique situation as a military family.

Do you have children? Before an emergency arises, contact your MFSC to find out how we can help you.
Children's Education Management (CEM)
Children's Education Management (CEM) programs and services ensure families:

  • Receive Education Management compensation and benefit entitlements;
  • Have access to compatible schools when posted outside of Canada; and
  • Have access to guidance counselling services to facilitate transitions between different school systems.

Michelle is hosting a potluck at her home in Arlington! Bring some food to share, bring your kids for a movie night, and listen to guest speaker Erin Henshaw talk about "The Whole Brain Parent" - scientific methods to connect to your child.
