As we pass another Labour Day weekend, the end of the summer season is upon us. Teachers are back to work and kids back to school. The long school season and routines begin but I truly hope that all of you had some time off this summer and got to enjoy the sunshine.
Some highlights in this newsletter include meetings that we had with the Minister of Transportation on the ongoing Skyway construction and lane closures that have crippled parts of our community on weekends. We met with them in Ottawa a few weeks ago and explained the chaos that is caused by the lane closures. We asked for better solutions to the lane closures and we will see if they come back with any solutions. Another planned closure is expected this weekend and you can check 511on.ca for the most up-to-date traffic details.
September is busy and back to routine at city hall with many meetings scheduled, including a few in ward 1. See the newsletter below for details, and drop by to discuss anything city related with me.
Thank you!

Finally, we met with the Hon. Stephen Lecce, Minister of Energy and Mines, to advocate for housing-enabling electricity infrastructure.
