I would like to invite everyone to the Annual Ward 8  'Family Fun Skate' taking place on Sunday, February 23rd @ Erin Mills Twin Arena from 2:15pm - 3:45pm.  

Please bring a non-perishable item in support of Eden Food for Change.

Be the Next Youth Poet Laureate

The City of Mississauga will recognize its third Youth Poet Laureate in 2020. The role of the Youth Poet Laureate is to serve as a literary ambassador for youth in the City of Mississauga. They will aim to elevate the status of poetry, literary arts and young writers through the development of a community youth poetry event or project. The honorary position recognizes a young poet who writes excellent poetry or spoken word and has written on themes that are relevant to the citizens of Mississauga. Candidates must be 25 years old or younger by April 1, 2020 and be a current Mississauga resident.
Coldest Night of the Year 2020

The Mississauga Erin Mills walk in support of Eden Food for Change starts and ends at South Common Community Centre. The walk starts at 5:00 pm walks to 11 Division where there is a scheduled rest stop and then back to the community centre for some chili, hot drinks and goodies.

For registration details,  please visit the link below. This is a great community event that will raise funds to help feed hungry families who come to Eden Food for Change for food and other support. If you don't have a team, you can join the team - 
"Walkers by Choice".
