Winter Maintenance

Citizen Committees

We value and depend on citizens to become involved in the city. One of the main ways you can do this is to sit on one of the citizen committees.

It is such an honour for me to serve on many of these with dedicated and engaged citizens. We depend on their feedback and input on many issues.

The Clerk's Office will be accepting applications for appointments to committees of Council only until
Friday, January 4th, 2019.

Budget 2019

Please take this opportunity to have your say on the 2019 budget. We want to hear from you and there are many ways you can get involved.

Winter Street Parking

On-Street Parking

It is difficult to clear streets with parked vehicles on them. Residents can help by removing parked cars when it is snowing and immediately afterwards so that our trucks can access the street. A year-round parking restriction is in effect from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
During snow clearing, temporary parking permits will not be issued and current ones will be suspended.

To find out if temporary parking requests have been suspended follow us on Twitter @MississaugaSnow  or call 311 (905-615-4311 if outside city limits).

Tim Horton's Skate

Tim Horton's will be sponsoring community free skates during the holiday season at local municipal arenas.

The Skates are scheduled until January 6, 2019.

If you have an upcoming community event and you
would like to submit it in our e-newsletter, please
contact  our office prior to the 20th day of the month
to ensure placement.
