The annual Spring Clean-up Program is underway on the City’s roads, sidewalks and boulevards.


The Program includes the following activities:

·      Snow Plow Sod Damage Inspection and Repair

·      Pothole Repair

·      Sidewalk Repair

·      Litter Clean-up

·      Illegal Signs

The public art program seeks to commission a professional artist or artist team to create a hanging indoor sculptural installation as part of the redevelopment of South Common Community Centre and Library that reflects the themes of eco-social sustainability and cross-cultural and intergenerational communities.


This is a two-stage artist selection process, with stage 1 being open to international artists and focused on qualifications

Interested applicants can now apply for the Small Project Matching Grant program, which opens on March 20 and the Live Music Grant program, which opens on April 1.


Small Project Matching Grant Program

This grant supports eligible projects that will strengthen neighbourhoods, increase resident engagement and enhance opportunities for Mississauga residents to participate in events and activities at the neighbourhood level.

Live Music Grant Program

This grant provides funding to offset the eligible expenses associated with the presentation of safe and inclusive live music events to Mississauga residents and visitors

Applicants who have not received funding from the City of Mississauga’s Grant Programs within the past two years must attend an information webinar.

Small Project Grants Program:

Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 6 to 7 p.m.

Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 12 to 1 p.m.

Live Music Grant Program:

Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 12 to 1 p.m.

Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 6 to 7 p.m.
