The City proactively identifies potholes throughout the year by regularly patrolling City roads. While the majority of potholes are repaired in the spring, the City repairs potholes year-round when warmer weather permits it.

Residents can report potholes anytime by calling 3-1-1 or submitting a report online. Once a pothole is reported, the area will be inspected within three business days and made safe. If additional repairs are required, they will be completed on a priority basis as a part of our regular maintenance schedule.

Regular spring clean-up activities will begin in full force later in April, when the weather becomes more seasonably warm.

The City of Mississauga presents an evening Summer Concert Series in Streetsville Village Square (Fridays), Cooksville Four Corners (Saturdays) and Port Credit Memorial Park (Sundays) during the months of July and August.

Submissions are open to Mississauga-based musicians. For musical groups, at least 50% of members must be residents of Mississauga.

While the city's goal is to provide the sidewalk clearing service effectively, we recognize that equipment use during winter operations can sometimes result in sod damage. Additionally, when sidewalks are covered by snow, visibility can be poor, making it difficult for operators to see the exact edge of the sidewalk.

The machines used for sidewalk clearing are approximately 1.5 metres wide, which is the standard width of most sidewalks. In some cases, when sod has grown over the sidewalk edge, the equipment may come into contact with the turf, causing some disturbance along the edges. Sod damage can occur during winter sidewalk snow-clearing operations, and the City has a process in place to address these issues.

Damaged sod is inspected in the spring, and repairs are typically scheduled during the warmer months (May through June or September through October) when conditions allow for proper restoration. Our team will ensure that any eligible repairs are completed as part of our restoration program.

Residents are asked to report dead or damaged sod online to help track and schedule repairs.
