The Civic Recognition Program gives the Mayor and Members of Council an opportunity to recognize the efforts and achievements of Mississauga residents and volunteers. You can nominate eligible individuals, community groups, organizations or businesses for a Civic Recognition Award.


The Square hosts a variety of free events such as festivals, concerts, movies and fitness classes each summer. 

Dust off your bike and pump up your tires because Community Rides are returning to Mississauga with both in-person guided and self-guided rides. Starting Saturday, May 28 with the Tour de Carassauga Community Ride, residents can join in-person guided bike rides or enjoy the routes at a time of their choosing using wayfinding pavement markings and online maps.
