Ward 8 E-News

We are happy to let you know that the construction project has been completed and that Mississauga Fire & Emergency Services is scheduled to move in and provide full response services from this location as of March 9.

The completed building is approximately 1,000 sqm (11,000 sq. ft.). Fire Station 123 features solar PV panels installed across most roof areas, electric vehicle (EV) chargers, and infrastructure to support a future EV fire truck charger. The building was designed and constructed to achieve Net Zero Energy performance and meet Level I of the City’s Corporate Green Building Standard. This is the City of Mississauga’s second completed Net Zero Energy fire station, further advancing our Climate Change Action Plan and Living Green Master Plan.

This new station will proudly serve the community and the City for many years to come.
