Wareham Speaker Series

Become Hybrid In-Person and Zoom in 2024

At the December EmeryStation Research Campus speaker series, Dr. Ken LIn and Dr. Jeremy Stanek from Stanford Health Care's Dept. of Orthpaedic Surgery showed a clear connection between sports injuries sustained by athletes and those sustained by fine artists, dancers, musicians. Treatment does not have to be invasive. Big take-away is that athletes know when to see a doctor. Musicians and even dancers discount their injuries and wait far too long, if ever, to see a doctor. If you or your kids play musical instruments, don't wait! The Stanford Health Care team at our EmeryStation Research Campus is ready to help.

Sign your company up to get in front of this important research cluster and present at one of the two monthly Wareham in-person luncheon speaker series. The EmeryStation Research Campus speaker series is held on the first Thursday of every month. The Aquatic Park Research Campus speaker series is held on the third Thursday of each month. The presentations start promptly at noon with free bag lunches provided. Tenants from our research campuses and the local research community are all invited to attend both events. Both speaker series will be hybrid in-person and Zoom gatherings.

San Francisco Business Times STEAM Leadership Summit

Wareham has been the proud founding sponsor of the San Francisco Business Times annual STEM/STEAM event for years.

This year's panelists were a stellar array of professionals working for in-school and out-of-school STEAM programming, including many Wareham public sector partners in this effort.

Special thanks to panelists Erin Rhoades, Executive Director, Berkeley Public Schools Fund, and to Faith Dukes, Ph.D., Director of K-12 STEM Programs, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratories. And thanks to the SF Business Times for another great event.
