As we navigated the challenges of 2021 together as a community, we were able to depend on your generous and kind support which allowed us to give neglected, abandoned, and homeless animals the second chance they each deserve. One of those animals is Bessie and this lucky girl's story is below.
Bessie's Happy Ending

Bessie arrived at our shelter as an abandoned stray with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite her injuries, she was as sweet as pie from the moment she walked through our shelter doors.

Our staff jumped quickly into action, providing the much needed medical care she needed, and of course, spoiling her with love and attention! After some time, Bessie began to heal as she patiently waited for her new family. Bessie's lucky day came and she was adopted into the most loving family.

She now gets to live the life of her doggy dreams, running on acreage and playing with her human siblings. She also loves to watch her dad as he works outside; her favorite hobby is reading books with mom! Each day, we fight for neglected and homeless animals because of sweethearts like Bessie.
