CHAPTER HAPPENINGS

 
NAMIC-Atlanta honored NAMIC executive committee board member and ELDP Class VIII alumnus  James L. Anderson with the  Mae Douglas Award for making significant contributions to employees within the communications industry.  NAMIC-Atlanta also welcomed Mae Douglas  former EVP and chief operating officer at Cox Communications back home to join in on the evening festivities. 


Joe Atkinson, chief digital officer at PwC, NAMIC ELDP alumnus and former NAMIC-Philadelphia chapter leader Angel Arocho, executive director, Cable Compliance, Comcast, and Ebony Lee, senior vice president, Strategic Development, Comcast received the Legacy, Trailblazer, and Industry Awards, respectively, during NAMIC-Philadelphia's 15th Annual Paragon Awards. They were honored for their professional accomplishments, personal successes, charitable passions and championing diversity, inclusion, and excellence in the communications industry. 

  
NAMIC-Mid-Atlantic held their holiday party with WICT and NAMIC-Mid-Atlantic vice president Sonarak Ieng welcomed the audience and shared holiday cheer and visions for 2019.
