INSIGHT IMPROV  LAB 2016

Insight Improv Lab

Facilitating Workshops

Dear friends and colleagues,

As Moreno taught, a good warm-up is central to developing the spontaneity of the group.

If participants are well warmed up -- physically, vocally, and especially emotionally -- they can jump in, play, and make the most of any activity.

In September's Lab we will introduce a number of new warm-up activities, including The Deeper Check-in, a process that helps create a safe space for sharing life challenges and visions.

We will also practice authentic movement, meditation, and psychodramatic techniques to explore the issues that arise, bringing them to life through role-play and role-reversal.

The Insight Improv Lab is, as always, free of charge. There are only two more Labs left -- September 3rd and November 12th -- so don't miss out!

New day, time, and location:  Please join us Saturday, September 3rd, 2:00-5:30PM, at 22 Hartley Rd in Belmont, MA. Details below.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Joel

p.s. -- Belmont is right next door to Cambridge and easy to get to by public transport -- take bus 74 or 75 from Harvard Sq to the Bright Rd stop and my home is a 4 minute walk -- or use Uber, taxi, etc. If the weather is nice, we're about a half-hour walk from Alewife MBTA station. For those driving, feel free to park anywhere on the street.

COMING SOON TO THE LAB

November 12, 2016: FINAL SESSION

Further Exploration with Insight Improvisation

Our final Lab of the series is a CELEBRATION!

Come join us to share some sparkling cider, delicious treats, and celebrate -- not only our first female president -- but also the completion of the final chapter of the Insight Improv Book!

In addition to hanging out and noshing, we will gather to stretch, meditate, move, check-in, and do psolodrama in pairs.

We will also discuss the book and exciting future possibilities for Insight Improvisation.

Please join us Saturday, November 12, 2:00-5:30PM, at 22 Hartley Rd in Belmont, MA.

Even if you haven't attended the Lab in a while, we'd love to see you -- please join us to toast this milestone!

"Thank you so much for your teaching and guidance here this weekend...to help others become more whole and present in this journey of life. I will remember that I sang despite saying that I would not. I will remember how I returned to a brave part of myself. You really created an atmosphere that encouraged and cultivated courage. Anything is possible."
