Residents will be VOTING on whether to merge the two jobs of Town Clerk and Tax Collector on the official ballot March 11 (when you vote for new officials). The merging would not happen until elections in March 2026. The Warner Town calendars are going through some transitions which is affecting the merged Warner Events Calendar - please be patient about errors or omissions while it is being worked out. We have added the new United Church of Warner calendar, some of its events are internal meetings at this time, others are public such as the exercise classes, and AA meetings and we thought it worth adding.

The United Church of Warner announced that the Benefit Spaghetti Dinner on February 1, combined with donations that came in afterwards, raised a final profit (after expenses) of $4273.50!! Checks of $2136.75 each will be sent to the communities of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and Altadena Community Church, in Altadena, CA to help them recover from the recent devastating wildfires.

Sweet Beet Cafe temporarily closed for post-fire reconstruction: Due to a fire at 11 West Main St, home of Sweet Beet, in Bradford on Tuesday, February 17, Sweet Beet Café will unfortunately be closed for an undetermined amount of time to undergo significant repairs.

NH Recycling Legislation 2025:

HB 451, which would establish a paint recycling program in NH. 

NRRA looked at data for over a dozen communities that held household hazardous waste collection days through NRRA’s cooperative program. These communities had an average population of 9,631. The average cost to hold a collection event was $13,091.

NRRA found that on average, 53% of the material collected (by weight) at those collection events was paint. This means that on average, these communities spent $7,126 for paint collection and recycling alone at collection events. MORE ABOUT PAINT RECYCLING
