New Hours for the Assessing and Building Department start Jan. 13, 2025: 9-4 Mon & Wed, 9-6 Tues and 7-7 Thurs.
The Town of Warner Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 20, 2025 on proposed changes to our Flood Plain Ordinance as necessary to comply with requirements of the national flood insurance program.
Written comments will be made a part of the record of the meeting and must be received by 12:00 PM noon on the day of the meeting Monday, January 20, 2025, mailed to PO Box 265, Warner NH, emailed to landuse@warnernh.gov or delivered to Town Hall.

There will be a Public information meeting about the Concord Lake Sunapee Rail Trail project on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2025 at Warner Town Hall. The winds on Wednesday dropped a tree across Rte 103 near the Transfer Station, which caused traffic to be detoured via Waterloo Street until it could be cleared, then a single lane of traffic was in effect until after 8 pm while crews restored the power lines to a new replacement pole. The Newmarket Road area and Rte 103 residents up to Bradford Elementary School were without power for 4 hours while work was in progress.
A giant pine also came down at 11 pm on Kearsarge Mtn Rd. It took Eversource almost 6 hours to clean up and restore power.
Be aware of falling tree and limb danger during windy days, as well as after it stops!

Winter Parking Ban: The Town of Warner's Parking Ordinance is in effect and states that no vehicle may be left on any street, road, or highway in the Town of Warner between the hours of 12:00 a.m. midnight and 6:00 a.m., from November 1st until May 1st. Any vehicle in violation of this ban will be towed away at the owner’s expense. | |

Warner 4-H Club meets at the library on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM for sewing sessions. Anyone interested in sewing, please contact Susan at warner4hclub@gmail.com. We have several sewing machines available for use, and helpful volunteers can be available if we know needs in advance.

Warner Fish and Game Club is Looking for volunteers and donations for the Fishing Derby, whether it's cash donations or prizes, and also looking for volunteers for the children's fishing derby to work on May 10, 2025.

Book Discussion Groups
The library book discussion group meets the 2nd Wed. each month at 1:30 pm in the library. All welcome! The library has copies to borrow.
February 12 The Reading List by Sara Adams
BookEnds BookGroup will be meeting at 4pm on the first Friday every other month. The first meeting will be on February 7th and the discussion will be about the book Home Fire by Kamila Shamsie.
You can also request copies for any book group via the library through inter-library loan.

Library Trustee meetings include the Monthly Board Meeting on the third Tuesday of each month (at 6:30 pm, in person). Various Committee meetings, some that meet monthly, vary in schedules.

Preschooler Story times with Miss Sue are held every Thursday at 10:30 am - stories, songs, finger-plays, and a craft. This program is held in the Children's Room.

The Ladybug Picture book award winner is 100 Mighty Dragons All Named Broccoli. That book was also our top vote receiver as well.

The next spring play will be "KID FRANKENSTEIN". See Miss Sue for a script and details. ONLY 2 More kids needed! Play date is Saturday, May 10, 4:00pm. Practices are on Wednesdays, 3-5:00pm.

The library is giving away furniture: We are replacing our original 1890s Table and chairs and need to find homes for them. For free. Chairs are large.
The table is 107" long and 44"W x 31" H. Original, but a laminate top was added, a very durable surface. There are small drawers on both long sides. Very sturdy
