THIS Saturday April 12, Annual Indoor Flea Market and craft sale library fundraiser at Warner Town Hall, 9 am to 2 pm! A great way to spend a rainy day browsing for gifts for Easter, Mother's Day, or yourself! Bake sale, raffle items, crafts, antiques and assorted treasures. Baked good donations welcome, and volunteers appreciated to help set up Friday April 1, 1-3pm or help pack up at 2 pm Saturday, April 12.

Public information meeting: Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 6:30 pm

PRELIMINARY FLOOD PLAIN MAPS update: 90 DAY APPEAL OPEN. Any owner or lessee of real property in Warner who believes their property rights will be adversely affected by the proposed flood hazard determinations may appeal to the Town of Warner.

The appeal data must be submitted to FEMA by the Town of Warner during the 90-day appeal period. The appeal period ends on June 4, 2025.

  • Request and expend funds from the Highway Equipment Capital Reserve Fund to lease/ purchase a loader and backhoe.
  • The Warner Conservation Commission (WCC) expenditure of $9,755 from the Conservation Fund to cover unanticipated costs associated with the enlargement of the Blue Moon Berry Farm conservation easement on Tax Map 10; Lot 30-1

All dog license renewals are due by April 30. Late fees start in June, and Civil Forfeitures will go out at the end of June. Rabies shots need to be up to date. Please contact the Town Clerk's office if you no longer have your dog, so that we can update our records.

Cameras and accessories: Do you have old photographic equipment lying around the house taking up space? The library will be collecting used photo equipment from April 9 to 21, to be taken to the Vermont Center for Photography (VCP) in Brattleboro for their Photo Thrift Store. Donations may include film and digital cameras, movie cameras, tripods, enlargers, darkroom equipment and paper (please no chemicals), camera bags and almost anything related to photography.

Sales from the Store help to fund VCP’s mission to promote the photographic arts through exhibitions and education.


In Warner, recycling earns $$ and reduces tipping costs, especially Metal, Aluminum, Mixed paper, corrugated cardboard, Plastics #1 and #2 (clear/green and laundry/milk).

National & State library funds update: (see previous issues for previous news)

Maine's State Library is the fourth to lose access to approved federal funding, and their Attorney General is one of 20 in a lawsuit to prevent shuttering of the IMLS. So far, NH has not been notified of a cancellation of funds. However, the national contract with the service that helps collect Library data from each state was cancelled last week. Data collection is one of the mandated services of the IMLS.
